Welcome to Rebel Roundup, ladies, and gentlemen — and the rest of you — in which we look back at some of the very best commentaries of the week by your favourite Rebels. I’m your host, David Menzies.
Well, that was quick! After just one round of balloting, Pierre Poilievre captured more than two-thirds of the votes and was promptly proclaimed the new leader of the Conservative Party of Canada last Saturday night. But does he have the right stuff to become Prime Minister? Sheila Gunn Reid covered last Saturday’s convention and she’ll offer her thoughts and predictions.
The news out of Kamloops last year was equal parts grim and disturbing pertaining to a mass burial site. Namely, Chief Rosanne Casimir and other Indigenous leaders claimed to have found unmarked graves and that the remains of 215 children were in those graves. Yet almost a year and a half later, where is the evidence of these allegations? And is there more to this story than what’s being reported by the mainstream media? Drea Humphrey joins me to discuss her upcoming Rebel News documentary, Kamloops: The Buried Truth.
And letters; we get your letters; we get your letters every minute of every day. And I’ll share some of your letters about an incident involving a knifeman going into the Toronto headquarters of Global News. Several police cruisers and a paramedic responded. But there’s been zero mainstream media coverage. So the question arises: why is this story being covered up? Is it because the knifeman is not, you know, a so-called “extremist” with the freedom convoy, but rather, an employee of Global News?

DAVID MENZIES | Trans Women in YCMA Changing Rooms; Quebec Election Update
September 9th, 2022 | 45 mins 56 secs
alberta, canada, conservative, culture, ezra levant, news, politics, pop culture, rebel, trudeau, trump
Welcome to Rebel Roundup, ladies, and gentlemen — and the rest of you — in which we look back at some of the very best commentaries of the week by your favourite Rebels. I’m your host, David Menzies.
So, the YMCA in Port Townsend, Washington decided to permanently ban 80-year-old Julie Jaman for hate and discrimination after she expressed concerns about a trans woman in the female changing room. That kicked off duelling protests in the town last Saturday, and Katie Daviscourt has all the details.
And the Quebec provincial election is in full swing, but when it comes to media coverage, one of the parties is not like the others. Which is to say that since the beginning of the campaign, Rebel News has covered events put on by Québec solidaire, the Quebec Liberal Party and the Conservative Party of Quebec. Ah, but when it comes to the party seeking re-election, that would be Francois Legault’s CAQ, Rebel News is media non grata. In fact, Legault has even sic’d the cops on our reporter Alexa Lavoie. But what’s he afraid of? Alexa will try to make sense of it all…
And letters; we get your letters; we get your letters every minute of every day. And I’ll share some of your letters about a

DAVID MENZIES | The Media Party sends an open letter to Justin Trudeau
September 8th, 2022 | 56 mins 27 secs
alberta, canada, conservative, culture, ezra levant, news, politics, pop culture, rebel, trudeau, trump
GUEST HOST: David Menzies
Well, that was one humdinger of an open letter that was published the other day by members of the Media Party. It’s a joint letter, actually, signed by 48 — count ’em, 48 — media organizations and associations. It was sent to the Prime Minister, cabinet ministers, and other political leaders. And the letter “demands action on the growing harassment and abuse of journalists in Canada.”
Oh my, it would seem that the media watchdogs who now exist as lapdogs are in a most disagreeable mood despite being very well taken care of by their kennel master, Justin Trudeau. Then again, I suppose even the tiniest and most domesticated chihuahua might yelp out a bark or two if it’s pissed off, enough?
So how about we dissect this missive, shall we?

DAVID MENZIES | Boosters at Western U; Unvaxxed tennis star skips US Open
September 2nd, 2022 | 44 mins 1 sec
alberta, canada, conservative, culture, ezra levant, news, politics, pop culture, rebel, trudeau, trump
Welcome to Rebel Roundup, ladies, and gentlemen — and the rest of you — in which we look back at some of the very best commentaries of the week by your favourite Rebels. I’m your host, David Menzies.
Just when you thought things were returning to normal vis-à-vis the COVID file, the University of Western Ontario suddenly demanded that all students returning to class later this month must be double-vaccinated plus a booster shot. Students and their allies staged a protest on campus last Saturday, and Lincoln Jay covered the demonstration. He’ll join me to offer his two cents’ worth.
And the U.S. Open is ongoing in New York City. But a notable player is missing due to not being vaccinated. That would be Novak Djokovic because he refuses to get jabbed with an experimental vaccine. And this, apparently, makes Djokovic world tennis champion non grata.
Our New York-based reporter Jeremy Loffredo will try to make sense of it all.
And letters; we get your letters; we get your letters every minute of every day. And I’ll share some of your letters about a Scotiabank client in Grand Prairie, Alberta, who was fired by the bank for the egregious act of… committing a thought crime? Oh, it’s true, it’s true…

David Menzies and Drea Humphrey host today's Rebel News DAILY livestream. DAVID MENZIES | War On Farmers; Canada Keeps Vaxxing Children
August 26th, 2022 | 42 mins 32 secs
alberta, canada, conservative, culture, ezra levant, news, politics, pop culture, rebel, trudeau, trump
Welcome to Rebel Roundup, ladies, and gentlemen — and the rest of you — in which we look back at some of the very best commentaries of the week by your favourite Rebels. I’m your host, David Menzies.
Good grief, not again! The war on farmers continues. This time it is the U.S. government going up against an Amish farmer in Pennsylvania… for reasons that defy logic. Our New York-based reporter Jeremy Loffredo has all the egregious details.
And while other countries have suspended the COVID-19 injection program for youths, not so here in the Great White North. Oh no, Dr. Theresa Tam is all-in when it comes to getting kids jabbed for the coronavirus. So how is it that the COVID-19 science is somehow different in Canada compared to other nations? Tamara Ugolini shall try to make sense of it all.
And letters; we get your letters; we get your letters every minute of every day. And I’ll share some of your letters about a senior citizen who was deprived of life-sustaining medicine by the Canada Border Services Agency and Peel Police on duty at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport. Her crime? Not sharing her personal medical information. And had it not been for the intervention of paramedics, this senior citizen might’ve endured a heart attack thanks to the stress she endured. Bottom line: these goons have proven how yet again Pearson is truly the worst airport in the world…

DAVID MENZIES | Jean Charest addresses his fellow Conservatives — will he recover from this self-inflicted wound?
August 26th, 2022 | 32 mins 37 secs
alberta, canada, conservative, culture, ezra levant, news, politics, pop culture, rebel, trudeau, trump
GUEST HOST: David Menzies
Jean Charest recently published an open letter in the Toronto Sun newspaper. It was addressed to:
“My fellow members of the Conservative Party of Canada; Please accept this as my final pitch to those of you who have yet to cast a ballot in the leadership race.”
Bottom line: there is one single solitary paragraph in Charest’s open letter that I wholeheartedly agree with:
“Canadians are looking for a leader who is ready to take on the responsibility of prime minister and all the responsibilities and the tough decisions that come with it.”
You are indeed correct, Jean. After seven years of misery under the Trudeau Liberals, Canadians are indeed looking for a brave Prime Minister to make tough decisions in order to repair a broken and divided country.
However that person is not you, Mr. Charest.
GUEST: Gary Duke from Grand Prairie, Alberta, used to be a Scotiabank client… until that bank decided to, well, fire him.

EZRA LEVANT | Patrick Brown exonerated from another scandal — but we think the fix is in
August 25th, 2022 | 46 mins 14 secs
alberta, canada, conservative, culture, ezra levant, news, politics, pop culture, rebel, trudeau, trump
GUEST HOST: David Menzies
You might remember our big scoop back in June when we revealed that Patrick Brown was using city of Brampton staff in his now thankfully aborted quest for the leadership for the Conservative Party of Canada.
Well, it turns out that our report prompted Brampton City Councillor Elaine Moore to file a complaint to the Brampton Integrity Commissioner’s office. That’s because using municipal resources and city staffers without them taking an unpaid leave of absence is contrary to the City of Brampton Code of Conduct and the Election Finances Act of Ontario and the Canada Elections Act.
Well, guess what? The investigation into these shenanigans just wrapped. And amazingly, the integrity commissioner has found that Mayor Patrick Brown did NOT – I repeat – did NOT wrongfully use city staff during his ill-fated CPC campaign.
GUEST: Marc Morano joins David to talk about his upcoming book, The Great Reset: Global Elites and the Permanent Lockdown.

August 19th, 2022 | 44 mins 24 secs
alberta, canada, conservative, culture, ezra levant, news, politics, pop culture, rebel, trudeau, trump
Welcome to Rebel Roundup, ladies, and gentlemen — and the rest of you — in which we look back at some of the very best commentaries of the week by your favourite Rebels. I’m your host, David Menzies.
For those who embrace freedom, last Friday was a shocking day indeed. A 24-year-old hooligan attempted to murder author Salman Rushdie at a public event in New York. But why? Raheel Raza will try to make sense of it all.
And say hello to our newest Rebel News reporter. That would be Katie Daviscourt based in Seattle, Washington. And what a story she has to tell. You see, Katie first got involved in journalism when city council and the mainstream media in Seattle decided to completely ignore the violent antics of Antifa and Black Lives Matter as they laid siege to her city. Katie shall explain all.
And letters; we get your letters; we get your letters every minute of every day. And I’ll share some of your letters about my monologue last week regarding how the World Economic Forum wants us to give up our cars in the name of climate change… or something. Sorry Klaus Schwab. It just ain’t gonna happen. But hey, Mr. Schwab, nothing’s stopping you from giving up your chauffeur-driven limo or trading-in your filet mignon for a cricket sandwich… I think that’s called leading by example… which ain’t gonna happen either.
Those are your Rebels, now let’s round ‘em up…

Welcome to Rebel Roundup, ladies, and gentlemen — and the rest of you — in which we look back at some of the very best commentaries of the week by your favourite Rebels. I’m your host, David Menzies.
Our chief reporter, Sheila Gunn Reid and our uber legal eagle, Sarah Miller, recently went all the way to Geneva’s Palace of Nations to deliver our petition decrying the human rights abuses taking place in Justin Trudeau’s Canada these days. The question is: will the human rights head honchos take this petition seriously — or will they bury it? Sheila Gunn Reid has all the nitty-gritty details.
And last week in Montreal, the circus — er, I mean, the radicalized transgender parade came to town. And guess what? The various spirit unicorns have absolutely no problem with children changing their gender. Alexa Lavoie has all the shocking details…
And letters; we get your letters; we get your letters every minute of every day. And I’ll share some of your letters about the shocking incident that occurred to Linda Todd of Port Coquitlam, British Columbia. You see, Linda went to a Walmart store in nearby Maple Ridge and was shocked to discover that the store was using a security camera to film up her skirt. AND, was displaying that image on a monitor for all to see. Even worse, Walmart doesn’t seem to care about this outrageous breach of her personal privacy.

Welcome to Rebel Roundup, ladies, and gentlemen — and the rest of you — in which we look back at some of the very best commentaries of the week by your favourite Rebels. I’m your host, David Menzies.
So much for the friendly skies. A 76-year-old man gets on a WestJet flight and when he falls asleep, his face mask lowers. And what did the WestJet crew do? They called the cops! Adam Soos has all the unbelievable details.
Speaking of calling the cops, you may recall that the Tim Wits at Tim Hortons did that to Tamara Ugolini. Her crime? Trying to drop off a petition re: Tim Hortons mandate regarding children attending their camp must be vaccinated. Wow, throw away the key! Tamara has an update on our quest to ensure Tim Hortons receives that scary petition.
And letters; we get your letters; we get your letters every minute of every day. And I’ll share some of your letters about the unbelievably woke policies at Wild Waterworks in Hamilton. For example, even if you are a man, staff will ask if you are… pregnant?

DAVID MENZIES | DeSantis sits down with Rebel; Dave Chappelle cancelled
July 29th, 2022 | 39 mins 9 secs
alberta, canada, conservative, culture, ezra levant, news, politics, pop culture, rebel, trudeau, trump
Welcome to Rebel Roundup, ladies, and gentlemen — and the rest of you — in which we look back at some of the very best commentaries of the week by your favourite Rebels. I’m your host, David Menzies.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis sat down for an exclusive interview with our Florida correspondent, Juan Mendoza. One of the issues they touched upon was the growing trend of Latinos leaving the Democrats in favour of the Republicans. Just wait ‘til you hear what the Governor had to say.
And here we go again: a bunch of radical transgender nutbars and their soy-boy allies managed to get a Dave Chapelle concert cancelled at a Minneapolis convert venue. Apparently jokes that might be offensive would turn a comedy club into an “unsafe” space. What a joke indeed! High Energy Andrew Chapados will weigh in on this latest gross example of cancel culture.
And letters; we get your letters; we get your letters every minute of every day. And I’ll share some of your letters about the huge turnout of demonstrators last Saturday at the Vaughan Mills shopping centre just north of Toronto. It was all in support of the Dutch farmers, farmers who are being threatened by their own government. And if you think this story is about some far away place that doesn’t affect you, the Justin Trudeau Liberals are also planning to go to war with Canadian farmers in the name of climate change. Unbelievable…
