Today I’ll make that case.

SHEILA GUNN REID | Matt Brevner on his Rebel News documentary Kamloops: The Hidden Truth
September 14th, 2022 | 45 mins 33 secs
alberta, canada, conservative, culture, ezra levant, news, politics, pop culture, rebel, trudeau, trump
In May 2021, Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc First Nation announced the discovery of a mass grave of more than 200 Indigenous children detected at a residential school in British Columbia.
But since last year’s announcement, there have been no excavations at Kamloops. Nothing has been unearthed at all at the residential school, according to a Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc spokesman. There are not any anticipated dates scheduled for the recovery of any remains.
And it's not a mass grave anymore, as was reported by the mainstream media, but rather graves.
Rebel News videographer Matt Brevner joins the show tonight to discuss his work on the documentary Kamloops: The Hidden Truth and the theatrical release of the film he made with reporter Drea Humphrey in Calgary on September 28.
Plus: what can anyone do about the cost of housing in the lower mainland of British Columbia and what's causing the hyperinflation anyway? Matt gives his take on the housing crisis as a young guy trying to get ahead in his home province.
Then Matt updates us on what he's working on next after the success of his hit single More Of Us.

SHEILA GUNN REID | The push for net-zero healthcare is a slippery slope to MAID
September 7th, 2022 | 38 mins 51 secs
alberta, canada, conservative, culture, ezra levant, news, politics, pop culture, rebel, trudeau, trump
While healthcare only accounts for 5 per cent of global C02 emissions, many within the industry see the inclusion of green energy in hospitals and patient care as the battleground in the fight for human health.
Hospitals, however, need reliable, consistent, affordable energy to provide life-saving patient care and to prevent the spread of deadly diseases. And green energy is neither reliable nor consistent nor affordable.
But what about the patient? What becomes of our infirm and elderly when the healthcare system is infected with an ideology which views humans as a parasite upon the face of the heart, an anti-natalist, suicidal philosophy which encourages depopulation?
Veterans are being encouraged to partake in assisted suicide as a treatment for their PTSD. One woman in Ontario was given MAID for chemical sensitivities and difficulty findings housing. What if someone deems your carbon footprint too large? The Association for Palliative Medicine is already worried about the climate footprint of end-of-life care.
Medical assistance in dying is the evil end result of a healthcare system already on the verge of collapse, coupled with a newfound obsession by some doctors with the carbon footprints of a hospital, medical supplies and the patients.
Joining me tonight is Michelle Stirling from Friends of Science to discuss this troubling trend growing in the climate cult.

SHEILA GUNN REID | Best of the 2022 Conservative Party leadership campaign
September 5th, 2022 | 36 mins 59 secs
alberta, canada, conservative, culture, ezra levant, news, politics, pop culture, rebel, trudeau, trump
GUEST HOST: Sheila Gunn Reid
The Conservative Party of Canada's leadership election campaign is nearly over and Rebel News has covered it from start to almost finish.
So we're looking back at some of our best coverage of the Conservative Party leadership campaign. Our journalists have covered the contest to replace outgoing leader, Erin O'Toole, from the very beginning and even before that. Our journalists were on the ground in Ottawa when Erin O’Toole put the final nail in his own coffin by refusing to support the convoy protesters in their peaceful demonstration for human rights and against COVID mandates in the nation's capital.
And since then we've had sit down interviews with candidates, covered campaign rallies, interviewed supporters, live streamed debates, and scrummed politicians afterwards asking questions that we know Canadian conservatives want answers to.
We didn't ask questions conservatives don't care about. We asked about lockdowns, gun rights, free speech, China, supply management, access to health care, and press freedom.
So today instead of our normal monologue and interview, we’ll refresh your memory on what the candidates said and did during the campaign.
Votes have to be in by September 6 and then the counting starts. If you don't have your mind made up, maybe this might help you.

SHEILA GUNN REID | Media, politicians gaslight themselves over the peaceful protesters in Ottawa
September 2nd, 2022 | 44 mins 34 secs
alberta, canada, conservative, culture, ezra levant, news, politics, pop culture, rebel, trudeau, trump
GUEST HOST: Sheila Gunn Reid
You know I think the last time I guest hosted for Ezra, I talked a little bit about how cults of different sorts permeate during times of upheaval or awakening.
At the time I was talking about the bizarre 'free man on the land' cult of Queen Romana. She's a cult leader who traverses the country in a crowdfunded Winnebago who claims to be the new Queen of Canada after the American military allegedly assassinated the Queen of England.
A couple of weeks ago, she inspired her followers to try to perform citizen's arrests on police officers. Naturally she didn't participate. She kept the Winnebago running.
But it isn't just people in the fringes of the pro-freedom movement that are subject to cult indoctrination. The Trudeau Liberals are trying to do it too to you. But back in the day, your cult leader had to stand on the street corner and tell you about the end of the world, hand out pamphlets. It was a lot of hard work to get followers, devotees and the brainwashed back in the day. The Liberals now don't have to pamphlet, door knock, proselytize, or first-person evangelize.
They've got the mainstream media barfing their gas lighting cult doctrine into your house every single day and onto your phone.
Let me show you.
GUEST: David Menzies joins Sheila to catch up on the latest in the Patrick Brown saga.

SHEILA GUNN REID | Why is the truth so hard to uncover at the Kamloops Residential School?
August 31st, 2022 | 30 mins 45 secs
alberta, canada, conservative, culture, ezra levant, news, politics, pop culture, rebel, trudeau, trump
In spring of 2021, news broke that the bodies of hundreds of potential murder victims, mostly children, were uncovered in a mass grave at the Kamloops Residential School. It was horrible news. Children snatched away from their families, punished for their culture, and abused until their were dead at the hands of the Catholic Church. There were even bones, a tooth and a rib bone just lying there on the ground, evidence of a genocidal crime.
That's how the story was first reported, anyway. But then it quickly evolved. Perhaps it was a series of graves and not a pit. Maybe the tooth wasn't a tooth at all. Maybe the graves were previous ground disturbances. And then news of any subsequent investigation or excavation at the site just went dark.
Why did this alleged crime scene not see the same sort of fulsome forensic investigation as the Pickton Farm, where dozens of women from Vancouver's Downtown Eastside met their gruesome ends at the hands of a serial killer? Why wasn't the woman who claimed to discover the graves insisting on it?
The facts of the story were not necessary for a spate of church burnings and vandalism — 69 in total — to kick off across the country last summer.
What really happened in Kamloops? Rebel News reporter Drea Humphrey has a brand-new documentary out today at http://www.RebelNewsPlus.com which details her attempts to follow the facts where ever they may lead. It's called Kamloops: The Buried Truth, and Drea joins me today to discuss what she discovered and why she felt compelled to dig deeper.

SHEILA GUNN REID | Robbie Picard from Oilsands Strong is going on a national tour
August 24th, 2022 | 45 mins 3 secs
alberta, canada, conservative, culture, ezra levant, news, politics, pop culture, rebel, trudeau, trump
The oil patch is a life-changing industry.
It gives people a way out of generational poverty without the burden of enormous student loans and the lag time between entry into the industry and earning potential. You can earn a fair income for your family with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
I think that's one of the reasons the Laurentian elites hate it so much. In the West, there is no such thing as “old money” and people in the path can earn as much as doctor, depending on what they do and how much they work. There are no social caste gatekeepers in the patch, as there are in liberal academic circles. It's true equality. There is no totem pole of oppression, just one of work experience.
And it's not just the people working in the patch that benefit from the jobs. Economic activity created by patch jobs keeps entire communities alive and farmers on the land.
The human story of oil and gas growth must be told, likewise the human cost when bad economic and green policies stop development.
That's what Robbie Picard from Oilsands Strong is doing with his national bus tour. He is going to visit the people and places of the oil and gas industry and speak to them to show the world who and what the oil patch is.
Robbie joins me tonight in an interview we recorded yesterday afternoon when we both visit the Rebel News Calgary HQ.
