  • SHEILA GUNN REID | Matt Brevner on his Rebel News documentary Kamloops: The Hidden Truth

    September 14th, 2022  |  45 mins 33 secs
alberta, canada, conservative, culture, ezra levant, news, politics, pop culture, rebel, trudeau, trump

In May 2021, Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc First Nation announced the discovery of a mass grave of more than 200 Indigenous children detected at a residential school in British Columbia.

But since last year’s announcement, there have been no excavations at Kamloops. Nothing has been unearthed at all at the residential school, according to a Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc spokesman. There are not any anticipated dates scheduled for the recovery of any remains.

And it's not a mass grave anymore, as was reported by the mainstream media, but rather graves.

Rebel News videographer Matt Brevner joins the show tonight to discuss his work on the documentary Kamloops: The Hidden Truth and the theatrical release of the film he made with reporter Drea Humphrey in Calgary on September 28.

Plus: what can anyone do about the cost of housing in the lower mainland of British Columbia and what's causing the hyperinflation anyway? Matt gives his take on the housing crisis as a young guy trying to get ahead in his home province.

Then Matt updates us on what he's working on next after the success of his hit single More Of Us.

  • EZRA LEVANT | Justin Trudeau’s 'disinformation' czar just served us with a lawsuit threat

    September 14th, 2022  |  40 mins 54 secs

A terrible thing just happened. I'm sorry to bother you about it, but I really need your help.

Rebel News (and me personally) have just been served with a legal notice of intention to bring a lawsuit, sent by Trudeau's "disinformation" czar, Jean-Christophe Boucher.

You can read his threat letter in full, by clicking here.

He's coming to censor us, to shut us down, just like he publicly warned us would happen.

    I need your help, please.

Boucher has unlimited resources. He has received massive grants from the Trudeau government that he's used to fund his work to smear Rebel News and other Trudeau critics. He's also a professor at the University of Calgary (my old university), which also has unlimited resources, too.

In fact, his legal threat was signed by the University of Calgary's lawyer. It wouldn't surprise me if the U of C is paying for this attack on us to ensure they keep getting more Trudeau grants.

But the main thing to know about this Boucher character is that he's Trudeau's censorship point man. He's the activist paid to lead Trudeau's campaign against “disinformation”. Which is Trudeau's new way of silencing his critics.

GUEST: Robert Davi, director of the new movie My Son Hunter.

    FINALLY: Your messages to me!

  • EZRA LEVANT | A heartbreaking and infuriating interview with a victim of child sexual exploitation in the United Kingdom

    September 13th, 2022  |  57 mins 36 secs
alberta, canada, conservative, culture, ezra levant, news, politics, pop culture, rebel, trudeau, trump

You know our motto here at Rebel News. It's telling the other side of the story. Sometimes that means talking about a story that everybody's talking about, but just giving a different perspective. But sometimes that means telling a story that everyone else is afraid to even mention. Afraid for various reasons. It's too difficult to talk about certain things, or, you might be accused of being a bigot or a racist.

That's something that happened in the United Kingdom, over years — in fact, over decades — as a terrible phenomenon took root in that country. A phenomenon of 'rape gangs', groups of men who would sexually assault women, night after night after night. To say women is inaccurate — the victims were girls, children. It's child sexual exploitation on a mass scale.

They also provide a brief history of Playboy, its seedy beginnings, and react to Hugh's little black book of revenge porn, which he allegedly used to blackmail housemates into orgies.

Plus, can you spot the signs of a groomer? This week, Kat and Nat provide tools to help people catch these creeps in the act pulling real-world examples from filmmaker Cheryl Nicholas, a woman who created a documentary that chronicles the tactics her teacher used to groom her when she was a teenager.

This weekend, the Conservative Party of Canada had the results of their leadership contest. It's not surprise that Pierre Poilievre won; but what was, I think somewhat surprising, was the strength of his win.

Welcome to Rebel Roundup, ladies, and gentlemen — and the rest of you — in which we look back at some of the very best commentaries of the week by your favourite Rebels. I’m your host, David Menzies.

So, the YMCA in Port Townsend, Washington decided to permanently ban 80-year-old Julie Jaman for hate and discrimination after she expressed concerns about a trans woman in the female changing room. That kicked off duelling protests in the town last Saturday, and Katie Daviscourt has all the details.

And the Quebec provincial election is in full swing, but when it comes to media coverage, one of the parties is not like the others. Which is to say that since the beginning of the campaign, Rebel News has covered events put on by Québec solidaire, the Quebec Liberal Party and the Conservative Party of Quebec. Ah, but when it comes to the party seeking re-election, that would be Francois Legault’s CAQ, Rebel News is media non grata. In fact, Legault has even sic’d the cops on our reporter Alexa Lavoie. But what’s he afraid of? Alexa will try to make sense of it all…

And letters; we get your letters; we get your letters every minute of every day. And I’ll share some of your letters about a

Yet another comedian bouncing back from comedy-club cancellations, Brendan a.k.a. 'Uncle Hack' from hit the Canadian comedian group Danger Cats suffered from an acute case of 'cancel culture' after TikTok videos of some of his stand-up comedy material was criticized on the Chinese social media platform. This resulted in some venues refusing to host their comedy-roast shows, even spawning a few protesters.

'Uncle Hack' joins Andrew Says for the first time to talk about his comedy faux-pas, Joe Biden and the Canadian trucker convoys/border protests that saw an unlikely crossover between Danger Cats and Rebel News' Sheila Gunn Reid and Kian Simone.

Behind the RebelNews+ paywall, Brendan gives his hilarious Jesse Ventura impression that you don't want to miss after he and the host get nostalgic about Woodstock '99.

  • DAVID MENZIES | The Media Party sends an open letter to Justin Trudeau

    September 8th, 2022  |  56 mins 27 secs
alberta, canada, conservative, culture, ezra levant, news, politics, pop culture, rebel, trudeau, trump

    GUEST HOST: David Menzies

Well, that was one humdinger of an open letter that was published the other day by members of the Media Party. It’s a joint letter, actually, signed by 48 — count ’em, 48 — media organizations and associations. It was sent to the Prime Minister, cabinet ministers, and other political leaders. And the letter “demands action on the growing harassment and abuse of journalists in Canada.”

Oh my, it would seem that the media watchdogs who now exist as lapdogs are in a most disagreeable mood despite being very well taken care of by their kennel master, Justin Trudeau. Then again, I suppose even the tiniest and most domesticated chihuahua might yelp out a bark or two if it’s pissed off, enough?

So how about we dissect this missive, shall we?

    GUEST: Jim Karahalios

  • SHEILA GUNN REID | The push for net-zero healthcare is a slippery slope to MAID

    September 7th, 2022  |  38 mins 51 secs
alberta, canada, conservative, culture, ezra levant, news, politics, pop culture, rebel, trudeau, trump

While healthcare only accounts for 5 per cent of global C02 emissions, many within the industry see the inclusion of green energy in hospitals and patient care as the battleground in the fight for human health.

Hospitals, however, need reliable, consistent, affordable energy to provide life-saving patient care and to prevent the spread of deadly diseases. And green energy is neither reliable nor consistent nor affordable.

But what about the patient? What becomes of our infirm and elderly when the healthcare system is infected with an ideology which views humans as a parasite upon the face of the heart, an anti-natalist, suicidal philosophy which encourages depopulation?

Veterans are being encouraged to partake in assisted suicide as a treatment for their PTSD. One woman in Ontario was given MAID for chemical sensitivities and difficulty findings housing. What if someone deems your carbon footprint too large? The Association for Palliative Medicine is already worried about the climate footprint of end-of-life care.

Medical assistance in dying is the evil end result of a healthcare system already on the verge of collapse, coupled with a newfound obsession by some doctors with the carbon footprints of a hospital, medical supplies and the patients.

Joining me tonight is Michelle Stirling from Friends of Science to discuss this troubling trend growing in the climate cult.

  • EZRA LEVANT | Climate lockdowns have come to Europe. That was quick.

    September 7th, 2022  |  41 mins 5 secs
alberta, canada, conservative, culture, ezra levant, news, politics, pop culture, rebel, trudeau, trump

It’s a failure. Not of fossil fuels. Of politicians who banned fossil fuels. Just like the last two years were a failure. Not at the hands of a virus, which was the equivalent to a bad flu year. It was a failure at the hands of politicians, who locked us down, using the virus as an excuse.

GUEST: Breitbart senior editor-at-large Joel Pollak on California's power grid and Joe Biden's recent speech denouncing MAGA Republicans as a threat to democracy.
